Terms of Service

1. What WordDecoder is

WordDecoder ("the Service") is a Bible study tool operated by WordDecoder LLC. It uses AI to generate plain-language explanations of Bible passages and topics. By using the Service you agree to these terms.

2. Your account

You must be 13 years or older to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately at hello@theworddecoder.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Acceptable use

You may use WordDecoder for personal Bible study, small group discussion, family devotion, and similar educational purposes. You may not:

• Use the Service to generate content intended to mislead, defraud, or harm others.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or otherwise extract the underlying AI models or data.
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission.
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law.

4. AI-generated content

WordDecoder uses AI to generate Bible study content. AI-generated content is for educational purposes only. It is not theological authority and should not replace pastoral guidance, formal seminary training, or personal Scripture study. We make no warranty that generated content is complete, accurate, or suitable for any particular doctrinal tradition.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Free accounts receive 3 studies per month at no charge. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as described on the pricing page. Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods.

6. Intellectual property

The studies you generate using WordDecoder belong to you. You grant WordDecoder a limited license to store and display that content to operate the Service. The WordDecoder platform, branding, and underlying code are owned by WordDecoder LLC and may not be copied or reproduced.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy of AI output, or fitness for any particular purpose.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WordDecoder LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make material changes we will notify you by email or by a notice in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
